Let It Fly has developed it’s own ranking system for the 2008-2009 Tour. Below, you will find the addition of the top 20 teams in each division to be updated as the season progresses. The point system is based off of the following criteria:

Participating teams will receive event points.  Teams will receive 50 pts for entering one event and 100 pts for playing in the Nationals. For each additional event, teams will receive a bonus of 50 pts. For example: (If a team enters it's second event, they will automatically receive 50 pts for that event for a total of 100, 3rd event is another 50 pts for a total of 150, etc.)

The Top 20 teams in each division will receive ranking points. The points awarded will be based off of how many teams have entered in each division, multiplied by 50. For Example: (20 teams entered = 1000 pts for the Division Champion). The total number of points for the champion will then be divided by 8 and that number will be subtracted from each place (2nd through 8th). Example: (1000 / 8 = 125) Therefore, 2nd place would receive 875 pts, 3rd place would receive 750, etc.) Teams not reaching the championship game will be seeded based on how far they advance first, their win/loss record second, and then by point differential in all games to determine what place they finish in each tournament.

The Ranking system applies only to Let It Fly events, including the National Finals.
